Rules

Hourglass is a public leaderboard. There are no ads and no revenue share. You buy time to stand above everyone else. Rank is time left, and nothing else.

The boards

One purchase counts on every board that includes it. The boards just look at different things.

• Leaderboard is the main board. Rank is the time you have left. A permanent listing has no timer and ranks above every timed listing.
• Today ranks listings by the hours bought in the last 24 hours. It is a rolling window, not a calendar day.
• Category boards rank the listings inside one category by the same rule as the main board.

How ranking works

• Time is bought in whole hours. One purchase is 1 to 365 hours. Buying 365 hours at once makes the listing permanent.
• Prices (US dollars): a one-time $20 test hour for a new listing, then $60 per hour, or $15,900 for a permanent listing. The test hour can be used once per website and once per email.
• Bought hours are added to the end of your timer. Time you have not used is never lost.
• Taking #1 costs the gap to the current #1, plus one hour. The listing page and the board show the exact number of hours and the price as Take #1. If a permanent listing holds #1, only another permanent listing can match it.
• Equal time stays in the order it was placed. The older listing keeps the higher rank.
• Already listed? Open your listing and use Buy more time. The same website cannot be listed twice at the same time.
• Large platforms are keyed by their page, so different apps or repositories do not share a listing. This covers the App Store, Google Play, GitHub, GitLab, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and similar sites.
• When your time runs out, the listing is removed automatically. You can list again at any time.

What you can list

• A product website or an app page that you own or are authorized to represent.
• Not allowed: chat and invite links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and similar). The board is for products, not group chats.
• Not allowed: sexual content, porn, NSFW or adult platforms.
• Not allowed: link shorteners. Use the full address of your website.
• Tracking parameters are removed from your link. Affiliate, referral and tracking URLs will not work. We add one tag, utm_source=hourglass, so you can see traffic from this site.
• Your website must show valid company or owner details, such as who runs it and how to contact them. Listings without them can be removed.

Categories

You choose a category when you list. If your listing is in the wrong one, email srikanthlingapuram04@gmail.com and we will move it.

After you pay

• Your listing is public. Clicks go to the address you submitted.
• A confirmed payment starts the timer and claims the rank. Listings go live without a manual review, so make sure your details are right.
• All payments are final. See the refund policy for the few exceptions.
• Paying means you agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, including the requirement that listed projects show valid company details.
• We can remove any listing that breaks these rules, without refund.
